Light Tri axial-woven fiberglass
Our Light Tri-axial woven fiberglass is specifically designed to give a softer flex from tip to tail for lighter riders but still torsionally stiff to maintain edge hold.
sintered base
Sintered base offer extremely high wax absorption and excellent glide qualities. The material used Dura surf XT Sintered 5501 base features ultra high molecular weight base and superior abrasion resistance.
Stone Ground Finish
Linear grooves are ground into the base. In addition to allowing the base to hold more wax, stone-ground patterns are the best way to break the suction and friction between the base and the snow. By grinding this light pattern into the base, you'll find that your board will slide more easily and will be smoother in transition from edge to edge.
Vertically laminated aspen/maple wood core
Extra light and extra solid, Epix uses an aspen wood core with birch stringers for reinforced strength in the insert areas. Plus, the core is vertically laminated for a lively and responsive ride.
