HOUNDSTOOTH

The perfect accessory for outings to the gun club or your local terrain park.

Although “Rocker” may conjure up images of groupies and tour buses filled with narcotics, it’s also an all-around bad-ass deck from Epix. With a mellow 6mm rise, this reverse camber freestyle machine is perfect for pressing rails and floating in the pow. The deck’s triaxial glass, aspen and maple core, and unicarbon stringers work together to provide plenty of spring. An Anti-edge Vibration System and XT Foil Topsheet create a silky smooth ride. The Rocker’s Durasurf XT 5501 is scary fast. To find this much speed you’d normally have to hang around an interstate truckstop for days on end. Its centered stance also allows you to get gnarly in both forward and reverse. This thing provides rockstar performance without the rehab and car crashes.

Profile

XT Foil Topsheet

XT Foil topsheets reduce vibration, shed snow, and provide a long-lasting home for your deck’s artwork.

Triaxial Woven Fiberglass

The angle of the dangle matters. Fiberglass—and the angle of its layup—works with a board’s core to direct its flex. We lay down fiberglass in three different orientations to create decks that are torsionally stiff, yet flex buttery smooth.

Vertically Laminated Aspen
and Maple Wood Core

Our aspen cores are extra light and extra tough. Vertically laminated maple stringers provide tons of pop and a consistent flex pattern while also creating a reinforced home for your deck’s inserts. These cores keep your board snappy, yet torsionally stiff all season long.

Unicarbon Stringers

These 1″ carbon stringers provide so much pop the double cork you throw in Michigan may cause you to land in Colorado. Just be prepared to pay fifteen dollars for that cafeteria cheeseburger at Breck.

Shape

Anti-edge Vibration System

Vibration dampening foil in the sidewalls reduces chatter. Your teeth and your knees will thank you.

3° Edge Bevel

Rather than meeting the base of the board at 90°, the edges on this deck are slightly beveled for catch-free progression. Spend more time sliding rails and less time smacking your face on them.

Centered Stance

This thing rides equally well in forward and reverse.

Flex-o-meter

Rocking a 6 on the 10 scale.
